New Comprehensive China Database for Worldwide Distribution

China Economic Monitoring & Analysis Center ("CEMAC"), a unit of the Chinese government's National Bureau of Statistics, with the mission to provide statistical information to the public, now provides Global Insight with timely and comprehensive information covering all aspects of China's economy.

This new database will be available for use with Global Insight's research and information products, and available for direct distribution to Global Insight's corporate, financial and government clients around the world.

In a unique new arrangement, CEMAC will also obtain data from many other Chinese government agencies and will act as a central source to supply such data to Global Insight. As a result, the overall database will cover new releases, as well as history, on a wide variety of Chinese economic indicators, including:

National Accounts
Balance of Payments
Trade
Labor
Prices
Production
Housing and Construction
Leading Indicators
Survey Data
