GATHER DATA EASILY
DataInsight offers an intuitive interface to provide you with access to IHS Global Insight's millions of time series, many dating back prior to the 1960s. Navigation is fast and easy via data tables, tree structures, and keyword search.

ANALYZE DATA QUICKLY
Working with data is simple using drag-and-drop techniques, and right clicking to apply functions. Use the functions and expressions builder to quickly transform data, and create your own derived time-series data and proprietary indices.

Seasonally adjust data with one click, or choose the advanced function for more options. Apply your transformations to the data, then save or download it into Excel® at the click of a button, and update them automatically. Apply functions in the selected work area or graphs and view the results. Use favorites to save and organize your series, tables, and graphs.

PRESENT DATA EFFECTIVELY
DataInsight has a powerful graphics engine and is easy to use. Create dynamic charts with simple drag-and-drop functionality, and update them in one step. Graph multi-frequency series together, add recession bands, and use smart annotations that can be fixed to a point in time.

Use the toolbar in Excel to upload your own data into graphs. Append your forecast to an historical series from the IHS Global Insight databanks, keep the chart up-to-date, and display the latest data point. Toolbars in Microsoft PowerPoint® and Microsoft Word® allow you to always keep your presentations and reports up-to-date.

Intel Pentium 233-MHz or faster processor (Pentium III recommended); 128 megabytes (MB) of RAM or greater; and 150 MB of available hard-disk space. Optional installation files cache (recommended) requires an additional 200 MB of available hard-disk space.
