Canadian Short-Term Forecast and Analysis Service
The Canadian Short-Term Forecast and Analysis Service provides you with in-depth five-year forecasts and analyses prepared immediately following the quarterly National Accounts release in March, June, September, and December.
Available through our client-access Web site, MyInsight, or in hard copy, this service includes:
- Historic and forecast tables of key economic indicators: quarterly and annually
- Alternate risk scenarios: analysis and forecasts
- Special reports: topical issues of economic performance or policy relevance
- Updated reports: on Canadian, U.S., and global economic performance
Also available through MyInsight :
- Flash Reports: quick updates immediately following the release of the quarterly National Accounts data.
- Preliminary Reports: preliminary forecast of key indicators based on our just completed forecast data bank, available a few days after the National Accounts release.

- Canadian Outlook Conference: held in Toronto following the National Accounts release in September
- World Economic Outlook Conferences: Twice a year, Global Insight hosts our World Economic Outlook Conferences featuring presentations by outside speakers of the highest caliber and Global Insight's own expert economists and specialists. The location for these conferences alternate between the United States and other countries. Clients of our Canadian Economic Services are entitled to two complimentary registrations.
