Behravesh is a graduate of MIT and holds M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied under Nobel prize-winning economist Lawrence Klein. He has been covering the global economy for over 30 years and has lived in Europe and the Middle East. He is fluent in several languages, including French and Italian.
